  • Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough approaches the 2017 college football season as one of PFF’s Day 2 running back prospects for the 2018 NFL Draft.
  • Scarbrough’s ability to make people miss sets him apart at his position group. Last season, he registered an elusive rating of 147.3, which ranked No. 3 among qualified FBS running backs. His 4.8 yards after contact per rushing attempt also ranked third.
  • After registering 62 carries through his first nine games, Scarbrough closed with 63 carries over his final four matchups. During that span, he racked up 26 of his 40 forced missed tackles.
  • He flashed some big-play ability in his limited opportunities. Of his 813 rushing yards, 394 came on runs that gained 15 yards or more.
  • Scarbrough was also efficient in pass-protection, allowing one quarterback pressure in 38 pass block snaps.
