- Free agent LB Zachary Orr has announced that he will remain retired. Orr originally retired in January due to a congenital spinal condition, but considered a return to the game following a second opinion. Orr spoke to 17 teams over the last few months, but failed to receive the medical clearance to return.
- Orr played 961 defensive snaps for the Baltimore Ravens in 2016. He ended the campaign with 49 stops (solo tackles that constitute an offensive failure) – the ninth most among inside linebackers, and 97 tackles – the seventh most.
- In 2016, Orr was active against the run. He produced 34 stops on 320 run defense snaps, and finished fourth among inside linebackers with run-stop percentage of 10.6 percent.
