- Vea enters the season with the sixth highest pass rush productivity (PRP), pressure on per-snap basis with weighting towards sacks, in the nation among defensive interior linemen in the draft class at 10.7.
- He’s also proven to be very stout against the run with the second highest percentage of positively-graded plays against the run a season ago.
- Vea ranked No. 2 in the class last season with a bull rush pressure every 20.2 rushes, showing off his strength and leverage.
- He will have to show more variety in his pass rush moves, as 39.3 percent of his total pressures in 2016 came from bull rushes.
