- Week 7 of the NFL season saw a breakout game from Cincinnati Bengals CB William Jackson. Last year’s No. 1 pick missed his entire rookie campaign with an injury, and saved the best-game of his young NFL career so far for his toughest opposition.
- Jackson held Steelers All-Pro WR Antonio Brown without a catch on four targets when he was the primary coverage defender, breaking up three of the incompletions. In total, he allowed just two receptions for 26 yards, 23 of which came on one target to Le’Veon Bell.
- For the season, Jackson has now allowed just 44.0 percent of passes thrown his way to be caught for a passer rating of 48.1, and has an overall PFF player grade of 81.0, good for 31st among all cornerbacks.
