  • Former Colorado Buffalo Jordan Carrell is down to around 300 pounds in an effort to increase his speed and explosiveness – specifically in pass rushing.
  • Carrell collected five sacks, ten hits, and 15 hurries on 413 pass-rushing snaps last season. His 5.8 pass-rushing productivity ranked 54th in the draft class among defensive interior players.
  • During his senior season, Carrell lined up almost exclusively on the right side (94.2 percent) as an end in Colorado’s 3-4 defense. Defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli plans to have him play 4-3 defensive end replacing the multiple players that Dallas lost in free agency.
