Rams, CB Johnson unlikely to get an extension done

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, The Los Angeles Rams and cornerback Trumaine Johnson are nowhere near an extension. Johnson was franchised tagged for the second consecutive year this offseason.
Johnson has ranked 25th overall among cornerbacks in each of the past two seasons, earning an overall grade of 80.9 in 2015 and 81.0 in 2016.
In 2016 Johnson ranked 14th out of 78 eligible corners in yards allowed per cover snap at 0.93. In 2015 he ranked second in passer rating allowed at just 55.0.
