- The Washington Redskins defense has been transformed in 2017, and one of the big differences from a season ago has been the discovery of DI Matt Ioannidis, who had another strong game against the 49ers in Week 6.
- Ioannidis ended the day with two sacks, a hit and three additional hurries from his 36 pass-rushing snaps inside.
- On the season, Ioannidis now has the league’s second-highest pass rushing productivity score of 13.2, trailing only Aaron Donald among interior defenders. He has 20 total pressures from just 121 pass-rushing snaps.
