  • Underpaid and unhappy with his current contract, Greg Olsen may hold out of training camp. Olsen is one of the most productive tight ends in the league, but is set to make only $6.5 million in each of the next two years.
  • Since entering the NFL in 2007, the 10-year veteran has been arguably the most sure-handed tight end in the game. Only five TEs saw 100+ targets go their way last season, and Olsen had the best drop rate among the group (2.44 percent), and was top five in drop rate among all TEs with 20 or more receptions.
  • Olsen also proved his worth in pass protection last year. Among tight ends with at least 70 pass block snaps, Olsen earned a pass blocking efficiency (PBE) of 94.8, 4th-best in the league. PBE measures pressure allowed on a per-snap basis with weighting toward sacks allowed.
